One of the ways I am already beginning to meet TQS #2, Engaging in Career-Long Learning, is through constantly asking my TA how I can improve on my lessons after teaching. I am very open to constructive criticism and throughout my practicums I do not take criticism personally, and instead use any feedback as a way to improve on my teaching methods. I also make active efforts to constantly reflect on my lessons after teaching them. This reflective practice is a habit I hope to get into early on in my career so it becomes second nature by the time I have my own classroom so I can constantly reflect and improve.
